Today, several of the Southwest Region Members were starting arriving and it was time to make the final preparations for our Guests


  ...let us get our priorities in order...

FIRST, I NEED SOME COFFEE!!!!
  
      
The goody bags and such were ready for distribution during registration...more paperwork to do this morning
      
Thank you Baskets were prepared for the Sponsors and the eBoard
      
 Tech Sheet preparation along with a little fun 
      

The Registration tables were setup and ready for the first batch of attendees
      
  Betty Parks (Convention Treasurer) handling a few last minute details  
      

Early Registration for the 2008 Convention opened up and the Attendees came - this helped us test our processes before the masses showed up on Saturday
      
 Cowtown Vettes handled Logo Merchandise for the 2008 Convention; Don Wells was the Chairperson 
    

 The Big Tent was erected and ready for use for several Convention Venues 
      
 The parking lot was beginning to fill with Rigs and Vettes 
      
 The NCCC flag was raised on the flag pole, helping to identify our presence here this weekThe Convention Banner was displayed the Hotel Entrance 
      
Participants were unloading their Vettes to take them to "Tech""Tech" was held at the Bridgestone truck; Sam Burgess was the Chairperson
      
...a few Vettes going thru "Tech" on Friday afternoon
      

A local Collector, John Neas, brought two very special & rare Vettes in for display during the 2008 Convention... later in the week he brought in an SR-2
    
      
This ORIGINAL 1956 Sebring Racer was one that people really enjoyed looking at; direct from GM
      
      
While this Vette tends to appear stock, it is actually a 1956 SR-1 Racer, ordered from GM for the price of $3,700
